A roof above your head seems to be a problem in Leuven...I'm not pretentious, so I had my staying at Youth hostel Blauwput, a small secluded place in Martelarenlaan Street 11 A. They only have 28 rooms, most of them with four beds, so it's quite common to end up with some strangers in your room if you're a lonely traveller. The overnight stay, priced at 16.60 euros, includes breakfast. Hint: don't try to check in from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., the receptionists have their siesta!
