When is the right time to visit Ghent? In other words, what's the most animated time of the year?(give a different answer) .
Mid July- the unpretencious city changes completely...it becomes lively, noisy, colorful. It's the annual 10 days festival that causes the transformation, a festival of music and theatre that the locals call De Gentse Feesten. I've been to Gent two times and I've really run it wild during the techno parties, techno's my religion. The festival includes this special nights, named "10 Days off" dedicated to techno parties...Be there, if you're a party animal!
