Yes, it's the wonder of the Basilica of Holy Blood...It actually keeps a few coagulated drops of Christ's blood. Amazing, isn't it? Furthermore, the phial is paraded once a year through the city in the cherishing ceremony called Heilig-Bloedprocessie...That happens on Ascension Day, it was on the 25 May this year, on 5 May in 2005. I forgot to tell you the chuch is set in Burg square, smaller, but arguably more impressive than the Markt.
